Garbage Hauler Rate Increase for Orangetown Residents 2024-2026
At the Special Town Board Meeting on December 18, 2023, the Town Board approved the following monthly rate increase for garbage haulers:

Be advised that the Town of Orangetown does not have an agreement with SunRun for Solar, Arcadia or any other solar company, nor do we sanction door-to-door solicitations for our solar program. Should someone appear at your door claiming to be authorized by the Town, please contact the Orangetown Police Department at (845) 359-3700. __________________________________________________________________________
Custody and Internet Purchase Exchanges
The Town of Orangetown and the Orangetown Police Department have setup a Safe Exchange Zone. The spot is located in front of the entrance to Town Hall and the Police Department. This area is under 24-hour video surveillance and is meant to be a safe place for child custody and internet purchase exchanges.
