TOWN OF ORANGETOWN
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2009
This Special Town Board Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Supervisor Kleiner presided and called the Roll. Present were:
Councilman Denis Troy
Councilwoman Marie Manning
Councilwoman Nancy Low-Hogan
Councilman Michael Maturo
Also present: Eliot Tozer, Deputy Supervisor
Charles Richardson, Director of Finance
Supervisor Kleiner led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
RESOLUTION NO. 227 ENTER STBM/LAND USE BOARDS INSURANCE CONTRACT
Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilwoman Manning and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered this Special Town Board meeting at 7:00 p.m. to interview Land Use Board applicants and to consider approving the insurance contract.

RESOLUTION NO. 228 APPROVE CROWLEY INSURANCE CONTRACT
Councilwoman Manning offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Troy and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that the property, casualty, liability and worker’s compensation program renewal, for various coverage for Town insurance, pursuant to Crowley letter agreement dated March 30, 2009, for the period of April 1, 2009 through April 1, 2010, to be charged to Account Numbers MS172248 and MS172249 is hereby approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 229 APPOINT/HISTORICAL AREA BOARD OF REVIEW/WAYNE GARRISON
Councilwoman Low-Hogan offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Troy and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that Wayne Garrison is hereby appointed to the Historical Area Board of Review (HABOR), for a five-year term from March 30, 2009 through December 31, 2013.

RESOLUTION NO. 230 APPOINT/HISTORICAL AREA BOARD OF REVIEW/THOMAS J QUINN SR
Councilwoman Manning offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Troy and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that Thomas J. Quinn, Sr. is hereby appointed to the Historical Area Board of Review (HABOR), for a three-year term from March 30, 2009 through December 31, 2011.

RESOLVED, that Diane Donnelly is hereby appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), for a three-year term from March 30, 2009 through December 31, 2011.
