POLICE COMMISSION/EXECUTIVE SESSION

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2013

 

This Police Commission Meeting was opened at 7:05 p.m. Supervisor Stewart presided and the Town Clerk called the Roll.

 

Present were:  Councilman Denis Troy

Councilman Paul Valentine

Councilman Thomas Diviny

Councilman Thomas Morr

 

Also present:

 

Charlotte Madigan, Town Clerk

John Edwards, Town Attorney

Teresa Kenny, First Deputy Town Attorney

Jeff Bencik, Finance Director

Kevin Nulty, Police Chief

Robert Zimmerman, Police Captain

Donald Butterworth, Police Captain

James Brown, Detective Lt.

Allan Ryff, Deputy Supervisor

 

 

Charlotte Madigan led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

 

 

RESOLUTION NO. 392                                          ENTERED POLICE COMMISSION

 

Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Morr and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board, acting as Police Commission, entered this meeting to discuss crime statistics and particular Police business, at 7:05 p.m.

 

Ayes:               Councilmen Morr, Troy, Diviny, Valentine

RESOLUTION NO. 393                                          ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION PARTICULAR POLICE MATTERS

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Stewart, Councilmen Troy, Diviny, Morr and Valentine, Charlotte Madigan, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, Jeff Bencik, Chief Nulty, Captain Butterworth, Captain Zimmerman, Det.-Lt. Brown, Allan Ryff and Donna Morrison.

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Supervisor Stewart and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered an Executive Session, to discuss particular Police disciplinary matters, at 7:45 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 394                                          ENTERED WORKSHOP MEETING

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:

RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered the Workshop, at 8:10 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 395                                          RE-ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL MATTERS

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Stewart, Councilmen Troy, Diviny, Morr and Valentine, Charlotte Madigan, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, Jeff Bencik and Donna Morrison.

 

Councilman Valentine offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board re-entered Executive Session, to discuss particular personnel matters, employee grievance and RPC negotiations process, at 9:03 p.m.  Supervisor Stewart said no further votes will be taken after the Executive Session.

RESOLUTION NO. 396                                          RE-ENTERED WORKSHOP ADJOURNED

 

 

Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board re-entered the Workshop and adjourned, at 11:40 p.m.
