POLICE COMMISSION/EXECUTIVE SESSION

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2011

 

This Police Commission Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Supervisor Whalen presided and the Town Clerk called the Roll.

 

Present were:  Councilman Denis Troy

Councilwoman Nancy Low-Hogan

Councilman Thomas Diviny

Absent:           Councilman Michael Maturo

 

Also present:

 

Charlotte Madigan, Town Clerk

John Edwards, Town Attorney

Charles Richardson, Director of Finance

Kevin Nulty, Chief of Police

Robert Zimmerman, Police Captain

Donald Butterworth, Administrator Lieutenant

 

 

RESOLUTION NO. 540                                          ENTERED POLICE COMMISSION

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilwoman Low-Hogan and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board, acting as Police Commission, entered this meeting to discuss Police business, at 7:00 p.m.

 

Ayes:               Councilpersons Troy, Low-Hogan, Diviny

Noes:               None

Absent:            Councilman Maturo

RESOLUTION NO. 541                                          ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION POLICE PERSONNEL MATTERS

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Whalen, Councilpersons Troy, Low-Hogan, and Diviny, Charlotte Madigan, John Edwards, Chief Nulty, Captain Zimmerman, Lt. Butterworth, and Charles Richardson.

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Supervisor Whalen and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board, acting as Police Commission, entered Executive Session to discuss particular Police personnel matters, at 7:15 p.m.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered the Workshop Meeting at 8:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 543                                          RE-ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION CSEA LABOR NEGOTIATIONS DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Whalen, Councilpersons Troy, Low-Hogan, and Diviny, Charlotte Madigan, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, and Charles Richardson.

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board re-entered Executive Session, to discuss CSEA Labor Negotiations and disciplinary actions, at 8:50 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 544                                          RE-ENTERED WORKSHOP

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board re-entered the Workshop for a presentation regarding Orangeburg Commons, at 9:00 p.m.

Councilwoman Low-Hogan offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Troy and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
