POLICE COMMISSION/EXECUTIVE SESSION/WORKSHOP

TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2012

 

This Police Commission Meeting was opened at 6:30 p.m. Supervisor Stewart presided and the Town Clerk called the Roll.

 

Present were:  Councilman Denis Troy

Councilman Thomas Diviny

Councilman Paul Valentine

Absent:           Councilman Thomas Morr

 

Also present:

 

Charlotte Madigan, Town Clerk

John Edwards, Town Attorney

Charles Richardson, Director of Finance

Kevin Nulty, Police Chief

Robert Zimmerman, Police Captain

Donald Butterworth, Administrator Lieutenant

 

Thomas Zugible, District Attorney

 

 

RESOLUTION NO. 22                                            ENTERED POLICE COMMISSION

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board, acting as Police Commission, entered this meeting to discuss Police business, at 6:30 p.m.

 

Ayes:               Councilmen Troy, Diviny, Valentine

Supervisor Stewart

Noes:               None

Absent:            Councilman Morr

RESOLUTION NO. 23                                            ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION POLICE PERSONNEL MATTERS  

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Stewart, Councilmen Troy, Diviny, and Valentine, Charlotte Madigan, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, Charles Richardson, Chief Nulty, Captain Zimmerman, and Lt. Butterworth.

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board, acting as Police Commission, entered Executive Session to discuss particular confidential Police matters, at 7:15 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 24                                            RE-ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION RICHARD ZUCKERMAN/UNION NEGOTIATIONS   

 

In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Stewart, Councilmen Troy, Diviny, and Valentine, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, Barbara Gionta, Charles Richardson, Chief Nulty, Captain Zimmerman, and Lt. Butterworth.

 

Resolution No. 24 – Continued

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board re-entered Executive Session for particular union contract negotiations, at 8:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 25                                            ENTERED WORKSHOP/ADJOURNED

 

Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered the Workshop Meeting at 9:10 p.m. and adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
