Nancy Low-Hogan

Nancy Low-Hogan is an thirteen-year resident of South Nyack in Rockland County, and she has lived for the past thirty years in New York State.  Nancy is the Associate Provost of the Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University, a graduate campus of LIU located in Orangeburg, New York.  In her position as Associate Provost, Nancy is the CEO of the Campus and she works closely with students, faculty, staff and the local communities of Rockland and Orange Counties in New York, and Bergen County in New Jersey.  Nancy has been the Associate Provost of the Rockland Graduate Campus of LIU for the past eleven years.  Prior to this she held progressively responsible administrative positions in various colleges and universities throughout New York State.  Nancy received her Ph.D. in Higher Education from New York University in 2003. 

Nancy serves as Chair of the South Nyack Planning Board.  She is also an Orangetown Democratic Committeeperson.  She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Visually Impaired, Inc. of Rockland and Orange Counties since 1997.  She served as Chair of the Board of Directors from 2001-2003 and Vice Chair from 1999-2001.  Nancy is a graduate of Leadership Rockland, Inc., Class of 1999 and she served on two different Leadership Rockland planning committees.  In 2005, Camp Venture, Inc. honored Nancy with its Outstanding Community Service Award.

Nancy grew up in New Jersey as the oldest of six children.  She received an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Union County College, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in College Student Development from Seton Hall University.  Nancy is married to Michael P. Hogan, who is an Associate Dean at Long Island University.  The Hogan Family has resided in Rockland County since 1953.
