The Town of Orangetown Drop-Off Center will be changing the hours of operation starting January 3, 2012. The Drop-Off Center will be open three (3) days per week with alternating Saturdays. View the schedule.

2003 Comprehensive Plan Update Study -
The following memorandum has been designed to facilitate small group discussions by the committee helping
with the update study for the 2003 Comprehensive Plan. The memorandum has divided the major focus of the update study into three categories: 1) Route 303; 2) Pearl River and the Other Hamlet Centers; and, 3) RPC and Other Major Properties. In addition to providing some baseline information, it reviews the proposals in the 2003 Comprehensive Plan in relation to current conditions. Some suggestions for future action are also

FEMA Disaster Recovery Center -
County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef announced that FEMA's disaster recovery center will open beginning Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Provident Bank Baseball Stadium, 2nd Floor community room, 1 Provident Bank Drive, Pomona, NY. The center stands ready to help residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Irene who need assistance in filling out paperwork or who have question about the application process.
