1. When does the Town Board meet?
Workshop meetings of the Town Board are held the first and third Mondays of each month at 8:00 p.m. in Court Room 1 in Town Hall.
Regularly scheduled Town Board meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Court Room 1 in Town Hall.

2. May I speak at a Town Board meeting?
At workshop meetings, a member of the public may speak to an item on the agenda. At a regular Town Board meeting, there is a public session at the beginning of the meeting for any members of the public who wish to speak on any topic for up to 5 minutes.
3. If I cannot attend a Town Board meeting, how do I find out what transpired?
Regular Town Board meetings are shown on Cablevision on the Tuesday following the regular Town Board meeting (and then repeated the following Tuesday) at 8:00 p.m. on Channel 78.
The Journal News also prints a summary of the meeting following the Monday regular (not workshop) Town Board meeting.
4. Who do I speak to about questions with my cable television service?
Call Cablevision directly at 845/624-3500 with questions about programming, service, or billing.
5. What are the Supervisor's office hours?
The Supervisor's office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in Town Hall. On Fridays, the Supervisor has office hours inside the Pearl River ShopRite from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. His direct number is 845/359-5100, ext. 261.
6. I just moved here and need to know the name of my trash carter.
Please call the Highway Department at 359-6500 and speak with Karen Jahnes, secretary to the Sanitation Commission, who can tell you the geographic areas of each carter.
7. What Town committees exist?

9. Who do I call to find information about Cortwood Village?

10. Who do I speak to about a traffic complaint?
The Traffic Advisory Board handles all questions and complaints regarding traffic, such as speeding and traffic signals, within the Town. They meet the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in Court Room 1 in Town Hall. These meetings are open to the public. You may either write a note to ask the TAB to address a specific concern you have or attend a meeting and address the Board.

11. Who do I call to find information about the housing for emergency services volunteers?

12. How do I obtain information from Town Hall under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL)?
Visit the Town Clerks's office and complete a FOIL request. Visit the Town Clerk's page for additional information.
