Units and Teams

There are many units and teams within the department.  These officers are trained for their positions.  Here is a list of these groups:

Detective Division	The department charged with the responsibility of clearing any and all crimes.
Bicycle Patrol	Watching the streets during Orangetown’s many fairs, festivals and parades.
CV Enforcement Unit	Enforcing our commercial vehicle regulations.
C.I.R.T.	Our team trained to deal with hostages situations.
PBA Motorcycle Unit	A unit led by OPBA members.
Honor Guard	Successor to the town Color Guard and often appears at parades, funerals and dedications
Auxiliary Police	A large group of volunteers often used at public events, such as street fairs.
