The Town of Orangetown is the southernmost town in Rockland County, and contains the villages of Piermont, Grand View, South Nyack and part of the Village of Nyack. Its proximity to the metropolitan area. plentiful park and open space areas, top quality schools and rich history makes it an attractive area for both residential and commercial purposes.

The Town is fortunate to have a mix of local, county and state parks, as well as watershed lands and hiking trails. Its villages border the Hudson River, and provide spectacular vistas of the Valley.

Blue Hill Golf Course 
Blue Hill Golf Course is a 27 hole municipal golf facility that overlooks scenic Lake Tappan in Pearl River, the largest hamlet in the Town of Orangetown. The course is available to the public, with preferential tee times and rates for Town of Orangetown residents. Resident permits are available at the Recreation office with proof of residency.
The course contains a full service Pro Shop run by PGA professional James Stewart, as well as a snack bar and restaurant facility. Contact the office via email to receive additional information.

Broadacres Golf Course
Broadacres is the Town's newest golf facility, on grounds formerly part of Rockland Psychiatric Center. This challenging 9 hole course is available to the public, with preferential tee times and rates for Town of Orangetown permit holders and Broadacres grandfathered members.

Park Permits
Permits are necessary for reserved usage of many of the Town's athletic facilties and parklands. The permit form is downloadable, and must be submitted to the Recreation Office.

Aquatic Programs
All swim programs are held at the South Orangetown Middle School. The pool is also available for birthday parties and group use on a limited basis. Call the Recreation Office for more information.
