ORANGETOWN RECREATION GOLF UNDER THE STARS
The fifth annual night time golf tournament will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014.  This nine hole shotgun event will be played on the Blue Hill Golf Course and all tees, fairways, bunkers, greens and flagsticks will be lit up with glow sticks.  The event has sold out the first 4 years, be sure to sign up early.  The registration form can be found in our downloadable files

GOLF PERMIT REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

Extended hours are now over for the season.

Beginning May 20th permit hours are as follows

Monday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm

3 proofs of identification must be presented for a resident permit.

THEME PARK DISCOUNT TICKET PROGRAM

Discount tickets to many of your favorite theme parks are now available.  Hershey Park General Ticket is now SOLD OUT and Dorney Park tickets are now very limited.  Please visit our downloadable files section for a flyer with theme parks and ticket prices.  Tickets will be available for purchase until September 2, 2014 or while supplies last.

Please be advised that the Office of Recreation and Parks will no longer be accepting $100.00 bills as payment for services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


Regal Cinemas Discount Ticket Program 

The Office of Recreation & Parks is selling discounted movie tickets for the new Regal Cinema in the Shops at Nanuet.  Tickets never expire! Movie tickets are great gifts for college students, friends, neighbors and even the bus driver.  Save up to 30% off the price of the theatre box office price.  Please visit our downloadable files section for a flyer with prices, and purchase terms and conditions.  Tickets can be purchased between the hours of 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.  Accepted forms of payment are cash or check.

  

GIVE THE GIFT OF GOLF 

Gift certificates are the perfect gift for birthdays, retirements or an anniversary and are available all year long at the Recreation and Parks Office. Acceptable forms of payment are cash or check. Gift certificates are also available at the Blue Hill Golf Course where credit cards are also accepted. The certificates are usable for Greensfees and Golf Cart Rental fees.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Town of Orangetown Parks and Recreation Department is to deliver leisure time opportunities through safe, well-organized and affordable programs and a comprehensive network of parks, trails and open spaces to promote the mental, physical and social well-being of our residents.

 


Program Flyers

The Department mails flyers to its residents three times a year (early March, May and September), outlining the upcoming programs it will offer. Copies of the current flyer are available on this website, at the Office, local libraries or at Town Hall.

The office also has a resource display of brochures from areas of local interest.


Office Hours

The Parks and Recreation Office, located in a historic sandstone house in Veteran's Memorial Park, is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
