DAY CAMP & TEEN CAMP REGISTRATION
INFORMATION

Registration begins for Orangetown's Day Camp and Teen Camp will begin Saturday, April 30th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  Registration will continue on Monday, May 2nd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. (no registration will be held until 3:00pm on May 2nd)  Beginning on Tuesday, May 3 registration will take place weekdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.  To download a registration form click here (please do not fill out the form in the spring book). 

BLUE HILL GOLF COURSE NEWS
As of January 1, 2016, Applied Golf has been retained by the Town of Orangetown to manage the golf course operations at the Blue Hill Golf Course.  Applied Golf will also continue to manage the Broadacres Golf Course.  For information regarding greenfee & cart rental fees, permits and the seasonal time program please visit:          www.playgolforangetown.com


VETERAN'S AND INDEPENDENCE PARK LIGHTING
The athletic lighting at Veteran's Memorial Park and Independence Park have been turned on for the season.  The lights will be on until 8:00pm from March 7 to March 13th.  Beginning March 14th they will remain on until 8:30pm through April.

SUMMER EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS
Applications for summer employment were due on March 18th.  Applications are still being accepted at this time for late applicants.  Late applicants will be considered for employment only if jobs remain after the initial round of intervews has been completed.  Residents must be 16 years of age prior to June 15, 2016 in order to be eligible for employment.  The applications can be found in our downloadable files section on the left of this page.  When printing the application from the website, please do not print two sided copies.  Application questions can be answered by calling the office or emailing recreation@orangetown.com

Mission Statement

The mission of the Town of Orangetown Parks and Recreation Department is to deliver leisure time opportunities through safe, well-organized and affordable programs and a comprehensive network of parks, trails and open spaces to promote the mental, physical and social well-being of our residents.

 


Program Flyers

The Department mails flyers to its residents three times a year (early March, May and September), outlining the upcoming programs it will offer. Copies of the current flyer are available on this website, at the Office, local libraries or at Town Hall.

The office also has a resource display of brochures from areas of local interest.


Office Hours

The Parks and Recreation Office, located in a historic sandstone house in Veteran's Memorial Park, is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
