GOLF UNDER THE STARS VII
The seventh annual night time golf tournament will be held on Saturday, October 8th at Blue Hill Golf Course.  This nine hole non-competitive shotgun scramble event will include all the necessary materials for night golf.  The night includes dinner and each golfer will receive a golf towel.  This is a non-alcoholic event and is open to residents 21 years of age and older.  A regististration form can be found here

Summer Concert Series
Thank you to everyone that participated in our "Pack the Park" Summer Concert Series in Veteran's Memorial Park on Fridays in July and August.  We hope you enjoyed the concert series.  Please plan on joining us in 2017 for another great summer of music. 



THEME PARK DISCOUNT TICKET PROGRAM
The theme park ticket program for this year has now ended.  Thank you to all the families who participated this year.  We hope you had a great time at your favorite theme park.  We look forward to offering the program next year.


BLUE HILL GOLF COURSE NEWS
As of January 1, 2016, Applied Golf has been retained by the Town of Orangetown to manage the golf course operations at the Blue Hill Golf Course.  Applied Golf will also continue to manage the Broadacres Golf Course.  For information regarding greenfee & cart rental fees, permits and the seasonal time program please visit:          www.playgolforangetown.com


VETERAN'S AND INDEPENDENCE PARK LIGHTING
The athletic lighting at Veteran's Memorial Park and Independence Park have been turned on for the season.  The lights will be on until 9:00pm for the month of September except during inclement weather.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Town of Orangetown Parks and Recreation Department is to deliver leisure time opportunities through safe, well-organized and affordable programs and a comprehensive network of parks, trails and open spaces to promote the mental, physical and social well-being of our residents.

 


Program Flyers

The Department mails flyers to its residents three times a year (early March, May and September), outlining the upcoming programs it will offer. Copies of the current flyer are available on this website, at the Office, local libraries or at Town Hall.

The office also has a resource display of brochures from areas of local interest.


Office Hours

The Parks and Recreation Office, located in a historic sandstone house in Veteran's Memorial Park, is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
