Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Orangetown is updating our comprehensive plan which sets the parameters for all land use decisions in the Town. The Town Board has acquired the services of Saccardi & Schiff, professional planning consultants, to assist us. Over the next several months, there will be public meetings where we will share ideas and develop a vision for Orangetown.

Please check this page for notice of upcoming meeting dates and reports developed by our consultants which will reflect their observations in the town, their review our land use codes and interviews with community members. Included here is a "who's who" of the players in the Comprehensive plan process. There is also a links page highlighting planning websites that may be of interest to you. Join us in addressing Orangetown's land use challenges to make Orangetown an even better place to live and work.
